Welcome toWatertech

What is Water tech?

THE FIRST INDO – ISRAELI STARTUP PROGRAM FOR WATER CHALLENGES

The program to be launched in 2022 gives an opportunity to participate in India/Israel’s first Innovation and Acceleration Program dedicated to Water and Waste Water Sector solutions in India.

The program is held jointly by  t-Hub , the entrepreneurship centre of Technion , Israel's Leading Technology University and Indus Water Institute, India's first accelerator and incubator dedicated to water and waste water.

The promotors of the Program sensed a deep void or disconnect within the startup community and the ground level needs of the water and waste water sector in India. With 600 million people in India not having access to clean drinking water the need in India is critical and urgent .

India and Israel have a strong and solid relationship both at the political and person to person level . Taking this opportunity and to celebrate 30 years of formal engagement between India and Israel, t-hub of the Technion University and Indus Water Institute decided to work together to bring out the potential of technological innovation of the Israeli and Indian startup culture by baring open the problem statements on India to both Startup ecosystems.
